Despite substantial volumes of research on the impacts of climate change on rice production, in this study, we pay special attention in comparing the climate sensitivity of high yield versus traditional rice varieties of Aman and Boro rice yields. This complexity has been addressed herewith using cross-sectional time series data, spanning 1972-2012 for four agro-climatic zones of Bangladesh.
