Autorenporträt
Will Ruha is an award-winning songwriter, artist, poet, erstwhile entertainer, and author of children's books whose love of life, play, laughter, and truth is evidenced in his songs, poems, and illustrations, of which Me, You, and the Zoo is the second in his series of "Poetoon Publications" for children (and adults of dubious ages.) Following a 30-year career in multi-media (television, print, broadcast, online, and live entertainment), he "retired" in order to devote time to his family, friendships, and new creative ventures, including songwriting (with successful placements in motion pictures, television programs, and on various artists' CDs), and creation of a series of "Poetoon" publications: i.e., books that include entries that are "part poem, penned in light verse, and part line cartoon, drawn to disburse, fun, into which one can happily immerse, to cure the dread curse of boredom, with laughs from where last, the soul stored 'em." Look for his line of Poetoon publications that includes "To Life!," as well as "Me, You, & the Zoo," plus, forthcoming in 2017: "The Magical Tap Dancing Shoes," "Teddy," "The Goat in My Boat," and a second anthology, tentatively titled, "Life, Too."
