For some parents and children, the idea of having a blood test can be quite unsettling. Parents' past experiences can have an influence, either positive or negative, on how to prepare your child for their first experience. Ideally, to make it a positive experience, try to focus on the outcome; for example, as in this book, starting kindergarten, a change in lifestyle, and/or overall good health. Much health and happiness to you all!

Autorenporträt
Mary-Ann is a highly experienced lab technician. For the past twenty years, she has focused solely on phlebotomy. Previously, she was a nurse in hospitals, outpatient clinics and family practice. Mary-Ann brought that knowledge to the medical laboratories and has had a successful career. These experiences made her see that there has not been a book written on the subject of blood-taking for children, which led her to "Matthew goes for a Blood Test." Mary-Ann is a married mother of 21-year-old twins and lives in Amaranth, Ontario.
