It can be classified as conceptual (which involves the approach of concepts, facts and principles), procedural (know how to do) and attitudinal (know how to be). The lesson plan is important because it explains what the objectives of the lesson are, how they will be achieved and in how much time. It works as a guide that guides the teacher on his objectives and opens up a range of creative options in order to achieve them.
