Manual therapy is commonly used in the treatment of mechanical neck pain. Manual techniques include positional release technique, muscle energy technique, myofascial release technique, cyriax technique, NAGS and SNAGS, manual pressure release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and ischemic compression.
