Considering these aspects in livestock, there are different production systems: Specialized: It is located in the highlands and north of Mexico, where the characteristic climates are temperate, arid and semi-arid; their production systems include mechanization both to produce fodder and for milking. The family dairy is that dairy activity that is characterized by using preponderantly unpaid family labor. Dual purpose in this system the cow remains some hours in the field and the rest of the day in the corral. Semi-specialized system is located in the central and northern highlands of the country. In addition to all this, there are environmental factors that limit or help production, another important factor is the nutrition of the animalsby providing them with energy, protein and minerals, these elements are essential for growth, development and production.
