Robert Taylor is Research Associate at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences' Centre for Economic Performance and Media Fellow on the ESRC's Future of Work programme. He was formerly employment editor at the Financial Times and is author of The TUC: From General Strike to New Unionism. He is currently working on a history of the Parliamentary Labour Party.
