To let them know they are not alone, that there is hope in this life, even when it doesn't feel like it. I want others to know that I also have been in situations that were less than I expected out of my life. However, through these poems, I have managed to make changes to my inner and outer self. I learned that depression is only temporary just like happiness is but I have the power to change the path that I am on to a path that best fits me.
