The design concept of compact Magneto-Re heological (MR) directional valve is to use four single MR valves arranged in a Wheatstone bridge circuit concept. The problem to be tackled in this book is about, how to develop and prove of concept of MR directional valve appropriate to be used in hydraulic control system utilizing MR fluid.

He has B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering 1984, M.Sc.in Applied Mechanics (Hydraulic Control) 1999- Collegeof Engineering, University of Baghdad-IRAQ and PhD inApplied Mechanics (Hydraulic Control) 2011- School of Mechanical Engineering, University Sains Malaysia (USM).
