In a monograph entitled "Magnetic Separation of Non-metallic Mineral Raw Materials", the authors have wanted to show the possibilities of applying magnetic separation in order to improve the quality of concentrates of non-metallic mineral raw materials obtained by different methods of preparing mineral raw materials. Also, the introduction part gives a history of the development of magnetism as well as the origin of the magnetic properties of minerals. The authors have paid special attention to the part that refers to devices used in the process of magnetic separation of minerals. They have described types of devices from the aspect of construction and operation methods. Bearing in mind everything shown in the monograph, including concrete examples, the authors can rightfully recommend this book to all those involved in the preparation of mineral raw materials, whether they are students or engineers in plants who are directly involved in the process of processing non-metallic mineral raw materials.
