Produktbeschreibung
Clean and safe drinking water is one of the most important and essential component of earth for human survival. Due to the continuous increase in population, agricultural activities and industrialization water quality is deteriorating continuously. The major pollutant that contaminates the water bodies includes the organic, inorganic and biological pollutants. These pollutants effect the terrestrial and aquatic life and the ecosystem as a whole. Various methods such as filtration, centrifugation, sedimentation, precipitation, coagulation, distillation, ion exchange, reverse-osmosis, evaporation, solvent extraction, electro dialysis, adsorption etc. have been deployed for water remediation. Adsorption method is of prime interest amongst the researchers due to its low-cost and simplistic process. Nowadays nanomaterials having magnetic property have become a better alternative for wastewater treatment. The main advantage of this process over the other is that the nanoparticle possess large surface area, high stability and further it could be easily separated by using an external magnetic field, which prevents loss and increases its reusability.
