Joan Carris, the author of the Bed and Biscuit series, has published more than a dozen books for children. She lives in Beaufort, North Carolina. Noah Z. Jones illustrated the Bed and Biscuit stories as well as Dance with Me, Those Shoes, The Monster in the Backpack, and Not Norman. He lives in Camden, Maine.
