M. Gail Grant is a graduate student and teacher of record in the Master of Arts in Professional Writing program at Kennesaw State University. Magdalena Gottschalk, a faith-based upper middle grade to young adult fantasy thriller series, was written for her youngest daughter, Penelope. Book #1 of the series is a 2018 Readers' Favorite finalist (children-preteen category) and 2017 NYC Big Book Award winner in juvenile fiction. Book #2 of the series is a 2018 NYC Big Book Award winner in juvenile fiction. When M. Gail is not writing or in the collegiate classroom, she is avidly reading books about the universe.
