Randy Wisehart lives in Richmond, Indiana, with his wife Tammy, their two adopted racing Greyhounds, and two cats. His interest in Quaker history and local history led him to write this book and its sequel, A Winding Road to Freedom. Randy is the Director of the Graduate Programs in Education at Earlham College and was formerly an English teacher and assistant principal for Richmond Community Schools for twenty-nine years.
