The author is French-Lebanese and lives in London. She holds a Doctorate in Roman Archaeology and is the author of Baalbeck Heliopolis, the Bekaa and Berytus from 100 BCE to 400 CE and the novel Retrospective, which is an existentialist love story from Beirut in 1982. This children's book is to immortalise her lovely dog, Loulou.
