Most towns in the book have an accompanying photograph of the Town Hall with details of the town's prominent residents involved with local government. There is also information on council involvement in the set up of the Police, Fire and Ambulance services in the county.
Autorenporträt
Stephen was born in North London in 1944 and schooled in Hove, Sussex, and London with a special interest in History and Geography. After many years in the travel industry setting up and managing new branches for a large tour operator, he started his own business within the retail trade. As a lifelong philatelist, Stephen later moved to Eastbourne, East Sussex in 1985 and operated an online and retail stamp shop. Writing poetry and short stories, rekindled an interest in history and Sussex. Stephen is working on his second book.
