Autorenporträt
J.L. (Joan) Gili (1907-1998) lived in England from 1934. A scholar, translator, publisher and bookseller, he ran the Dolphin Book Co. in Oxford for many years, and was well known for his work on this Lorca selection and as the translator of the Catalan poet Josep Carner's Nabí.
