Rezensionen
"Taking his lead from Senghor, William Kluback has asked his own questions of the twentieth-century philosophers Senghor most admired. He considers Jacques Maritain, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Paul Claudel, and Gaston Bachelard in the context of what the African, Senghor, sought and found in them. To their voices he adds that of Senghor, as a rare link between two traditions of thinking about the spiritual dimension of human experience...The result is a highly personal book that amplifies the contribution of an African voice to ongoing conversations about the value and significance of human life." (Janet G. Vaillant, Harvard University, Exerpt from the Preface)
