Autorenporträt

Nicole Hendrix is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Radford University, where she teaches introduction to criminal justice, among other courses. Dr. Hendrix completed her undergraduate and master's degrees at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, where her love of exploring crime and justice grew from several projects that emphasized academic and applied research. Dr. Hendrix went on to earn her PhD in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany-SUNY, where she worked on numerous research projects, including the Rochester Youth Development Study. Much of her work reflects her belief that building bridges between academia and professional criminal justice results in the best outcomes for communities.
