Mónica Rojas es doctora en Literatura Latinoamericana por la Universidad de Zúrich. Embajadora de la organización Save the Children, México. Autora, entre otras obras, de la novela La niña polaca y los libros infantiles La mariquita azul, Eglantyne Jebb: una vida dedicada a la niñez y El niño que tocó las estrellas. Mónica Rojas received her doctorate in Latin American literature from the University of Zurich. She is the author, among other works, of the novel The Polish Girl and the children's books The Blue Ladybug, and The Boy Who Touched the Stars.
