After the loss of a loved one, grief can make it difficult to feel our Savior's love in our daily lives. Produktbeschreibung
After the loss of a loved one, grief can make it difficult to feel our Savior's love in our daily lives. We can feel as though our world has shattered, and, as we try to pick up the pieces, it is easy to cut ourselves on the razor-sharp edge of despair. These are the moments our Savior, Jesus Christ, is most anxious to help us. He is reaching out His guiding hand, waiting to lead us through these trials. In Living with Broken Glass, Shelly M. Rowlan shows us how to look for the little miracles in our lives, especially in dark times. Through her own experience dealing with the death of her son Brieson, Rowlan takes us through her journey of grief and sorrow, showing readers each small revelatory moment of healing. Accompanied by words from the scriptures and our modern Church leaders, this book is not only a beautiful story of finding the holy moments in painful times, but also a guide for other Latter-day Saints experiencing loss to do the same. Living with Broken Glass will help readers: * Use grief to draw closer to the Savior. * Deepen connections to deceased loved ones. * Find peace amidst tragedy. * Create a community of support around them. The story in this book is a testament, not only to our ability to overcome our grief, but also of our Savior, his everlasting love, and the support He gives us in troubled moments.
