Autorenporträt
As an only child growing up in Long Island, New York, Sherri Thorpe loved to read and write from a very early age. She gave her heart to Christ at age twelve. After she went off to college, she began writing poetry and wondered what other genres she might enjoy. During a period of great trial and heartbreak in her own life, she began writing daily devotionals to encourage herself spiritually. Each day she focused on a different Scripture and wrote down her thoughts. She decided to share it with one person, but gradually the list grew until she was sending the personal devotionals to over 150 people. Now these devotionals have become a book. You will sense in these brief readings her sensitivity to the hearts and needs of others. Today she lives in Roosevelt, New York, and is very active in Memorial Presbyterian Church.
