Ann Ormsby is the author of two novels and many short stories that dig deep into family relationships. She has also written a number of opinion pieces about public policy issues. Her op-eds have run in the New York Daily News, The Newark Star-Ledger, The Huffington Post, njspotlight.com, The Westfield Leader and The Alternative Press. Her short stories have appeared in the Greenwich Village Literary Review, Every Day Fiction, Pentimento Magazine, and October Hill Magazine. "I thoroughly believe that the family you are born into and how the people in that family treat you determine who you will become. Family members can either be our biggest supporters or the most savage and damaging critics, but I have found that most people can be saved by one strong, loving, positive relationship early in life," said Ann.
