This present study has done for to understand the concept of Srotas and its Mulasthana as well as to support the Acharyas statement about Mulasthana of Raktavaha Srotas. Here in respect to our title and for convenience we have studied only about Yakrut. In this book, review of Ayurvedic literature and experimental study has been done. Rakta Dushtikara Dravya; Kulattha and Masha were selected for feeding for test group. These drugs produces anomaly in Rakta Dhatu and due to that, the Mulasthana of Raktavaha Srotas also get affected. To observe the pathology several blood investigation and histopathological study of liver has been done and from the observation details, we come on conclusion that Yakrut is a Mulasthana of Raktavaha Srotas, the drugs which acts on Rakta Dhatu may also acts on Yakrut, or vice versa. While treating any sort of Rakta Vikruti our mind must flash on both, Yakrut and Raktavaha Srotas. Most of the time in Yakrut Vikara, we are concentrating only on Yakut, but the cause may be its Srotas Dushty which can be fail to notice. In fact, this work is helpful in routine practice. Therefore, by keeping it in mind the, treatment will always be at right path.
