It is a collection that will appeal to a broad audience. About the Author Dede Meltzer writes in numerous genres. She is a poet, short story author, playwright, scholar, freelance writer and songwriter. She was the recipient of a poet's scholarship to attend a major American poetry conference--West Chester University Poetry Conference--in Pennsylvania. Meltzer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Wesleyan University in the state of Connecticut, and a Master of Arts degree at Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey. The courses she has taught include Introduction to Literature, Reading, English Composition, Survey of Women's Literature, Introduction to Speech, and English as a Second Language. Besides teaching, Meltzer has also worked as a professional journalist and a real estate salesperson. Numerous individual poems of Meltzer's have been published in The Rutherford Red Wheelbarrow--No.5 (2012), Temple Talk (a monthly e-zine published by the faith group, Chavurah Beth Shalom) and Haiku (a 2020 anthology published by Perrot Memorial Library in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.)
