Autorenporträt
Jameel Haiat is an American poet and author, who grew up in Los Angeles as the son of two cultures. Born to a Pakistani father and a Mexican/American mother, he is a product of their angst, turmoil, love and attention. His writings reflect the trauma of childhood loss and pain, loves lost and gained and reflections upon his place in the world from a multi-cultural upbringing. His life as a successful artist, writer, maker and designer has taken him to places far and abroad where he has absorbed other cultures, personal stories and perspectives that influence his work today. He currently lives in Asia with his loving wife and partner in everything.
