Susan Conolly-Horne spent many childhood hours in her grandmother's backyard observing all of nature's mysteries and gifts. She loved to watch the many whimsical insects and birds. As a child, they seemed to take on their own personalities and jobs. Today, Susan has her own garden much like what is described in Let's Dance. Her watchful eye in this magical place is the inspiration for this story. Susan is a retired teacher and loves to read and write for young children. She currently lives in Covington, Georgia, but her imagination travels the world!
