Alfred de Musset (1810-1857) est un écrivain français qui appartient au mouvement littéraire du romantisme. En plus de sa carrière de dramaturge, de romancier et de poète, il s'intéresse au conte et à la nouvelle. Il connaît du succès dans ses premières années d'écriture notamment avec la pièce de théâtre " On ne badine pas avec l'amour " ou encore son roman intitulé " La Confession d'un enfant du siècle ". Alfred de Musset vit une relation passionnelle avec Georges Sand et côtoie d'autres écrivains célèbres tel que Charles Nodier.
