His book In Search of the Craic is a best-seller and has been a Mercury Music Prize judge. He reviews mainly singer-songwriters, folk rock, Celtic and traditional folk albums. Mark Beaumont is an author, broadcaster and award-winning music writer for publications including NME, The Guardian, The Times, Shortlist and Classic Rock. He has spent almost twenty years documenting the highs and lows of rock'n'roll's greatest names, interviewing everyone Keith Richards and Paul McCartney to the biggest bands of today.
