Autorenporträt
Dorothy May Mercer was born and raised on a small country farm. The author lives in Michigan with her husband where they commute between their two lakeside homes. Frequent travels have taken them far and wide, from mountains to seashore. She is president of two companies: Mercer Publications & Ministries, Inc. and Swains Lake Farms, Inc., a privately owned real estate company. She has been a prolific creator, writer and wit all of her life, with scores of lectures, seminars, sacred dramas, meditation tapes and many published musical works to her credit. "Stories I Haven't Told," a memoir of her life before she turned to writing books was Dorothy's first full-sized published book. Truly, she had been much too busy with life to find time to publish something of that length. Writing her first book was so compelling and fun it was soon followed by "Leon and Esther," a romance novel, and three more great books within the first year. Dorothy has indulged in at least a dozen hobbies and careers. Some have been extremely successful, some not so much. Now in her energetic senior years, she has a great deal to write about and time to do it. Look for a flood of future works from her fast and furious keyboard. It is no surprise that Dorothy has been named in "Who's Who in the World," "Who's Who in Finance and Business," "Who's Who in America," and "Who's Who in American Women" for several years.
