Modern legal constructs are becoming a new virtual reality for people living in a global consumer society. Understanding the situation with modern legal constructs leads us to conduct a research to identify the connection between people's ideas about natural rights to life, to housing and "unnatural rights" prescribed to people by legal acts in the sphere of housing.The author has proposed in this paper not to criticize the housing legislation, but to substantiate the ways of reorganization of housing legal system in Russia in terms of philosophy of law, relying on self-organization of owners and users of housing, to substantiate the positions of possibility of using legal concepts not for stirring up of housing conflicts, but for their reconciliation.The main provisions and conclusions of the work can serve as a basis for further philosophical and legal study of the problem of determining the status of modern housing legislation, as well as for practical use by lawyers, politicians, managers in the housing and communal sphere, municipal officials, homeowners.
