Phonon is a unique concept in solids. It is mainly described as packet of energy which arises due to the vibration of atoms about their equilibrium position in solids at finite temperature. This book primarily focus on the exotic interplay of the phonons in disordered materials. The problem of phonons in disordered solids has always been an outstanding problem, specially due to the random nature of force constants between different atoms. Understanding the interplay of these force constants is an extremely tedious task. The purpose of the present book is centered around this particular topic.…mehr

The purpose of the present book is centered around this particular topic. We present a new theoretical approach to understand this problem
