Kenneth E. Bailey, ministro presbiteriano ordenado, vivió y enseñó en seminarios e institutos en Egipto, Líbano, Chipre y Jerusalén por cuarenta años. Durante veinte de estos años, el Dr. Bailey fue director de la división bíblica y profesor de NuevoTestamento en la Escuela Teológica Near East en Beirut.
