A society which has a strong loyalty to its language and culture will never die. This book illustrates how the Assyrian people in Iraq could maintain and transmit their language and heritage into their children generation after generation for centuries successfully despite of a long contact with many other languages and cultures which came in and used together side by side on the same land. This book helps researchers and those who have an interest in minority languages and cultures which are in endangered situations and on their way into loss.
