Autorenporträt
Born in the village of Hazara in Swat, the author, Sultan-i-Rome, obtained a Masters degree in General History from the University of Karachi and a PhD in History from the University of Peshawar. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of History. He is life member of the Pakistan Historical Society and a sitting member of its Executive Committee. He is also a life member of the Council of Social Sciences Pakistan (COSS), and the Pukhtu Adabi Board. He is also a sitting member on the Board of Governors (BoG), Excelsior College, Swat. He is a member of Environmental Protection Society (EPS), in Swat, and is an Executive Council as well as member of Review Committee for Manuscripts, NWFP Text Book Board. He has participated in a number of national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops and has presented many papers. He has to his credit forty research articles published in research journals, books and proceedings; and also online, occasional, and working papers.
