Susana Illera Martínez is a designer, creative producer, and award-winning bilingual author from Colombia who currently resides in Miami, Florida. Her works, including poetry, short stories, and children's picture books, have been published in multiple countries and have been recognized in international literary competitions.She is a member of the Hispanic Heritage Literature Organization/Milibrohispano; and the International Society of Latino Authors (ISLA). Since 2021, Susana has collaborated with Disney Publishing Worldwide to write original stories based on the film Encanto, which takes inspiration from her beloved country.
