The rearing of larvae sustains through maintaining the ovigerous females till hatching and then cultured under laboratory conditions.

Dr. Ferhana Shafiq Ghory began her career as Research Assistant in US Office of the Naval Research (O.N.R.Project) at Marine Reference Collection & Resource Centre, University of Karachi. She has been working as a Research Officer, Museum Technician and as a cooperative Teacher, University of Karachi.
