DEEPTI KAPOOR nació en Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh, India) en 1980. Estudió periodismo en la universidad de Delhi y un máster en psicología social. Ha trabajado como periodista para diversas publicaciones en la India. Es autora de las novelas A Bad Character (2015) y La Edad del Vicio, que será traducida en quince países y será llevada a la gran pantalla por FX y Fox 21 tras una subasta entre veinte productoras. Actualmente vive en Lisboa.
