Matthew Ingle is the chairman and former CEO of Howdens, the kitchen and joinery company he founded in 1995. He left school with four O-levels and went to work at a timber yard in Huddersfield, before joining Magnet kitchens. When he was made redundant from Magnet in 1994, he decided to start his own business; today, Howdens is a worldwide company with sales of £2 billion and a listing on the FTSE 100. Matthew lives in Yorkshire with his wife and dogs.
