This book was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to bring hope and encouragement to a lost and dying world. In this day of troubles and strife, God wants to encourage his children that He is good and loves us all. His plan is to let everyone mentally walk- through part of Barbara's personal life and experiences with Him as her personal Savior and Lord. Too many people think of God as a dictator but reading this will hopefully and prayerfully change their minds so they can experience the presence and love of God as they read this amazing book. When she was little, she imagined that God was a "dictator type" being because she associated Him with her stepfather who abused her for no reason. She was baptized in her early years and followed Him until her two sons were 1 and 3 years old when she left them with their father to raise. After 28 years of guilt, shame, low self-worth, depression, and constant battles with the suicide spirit, the Lord led her to a wonderful Pentecostal spirit-filled church where she finally accepted Him as her Lord and Savior. Her life has never been the same since and God has been her loving Father, caring for her ever since that terrible, but beautiful New Year's Eve when she surrendered. He is not at all like she had imagined before but totally the opposite! I pray you will be more than blessed as you follow my experiences with the Lord!
Autorenporträt
Barbara was raised on a farm during a time of oppression without the modern conveniences, comforts, and blessings enjoyed by her peers. During her school years, she was known by her classmates as "that poor little farm girl", which added to her already low self-esteem caused by childhood abuse.
