Christian Maurer, geboren in Leoben/Österreich, studierte an der Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst in Wien experimentelles Gestalten. 1989 bricht er das Studium ab und zieht nach Berlin. Er beginnt mit klassischer bildender Kunst, entwickelt sich aber bald davon weg und bedient sich heute aller Ausdrucksmittel, die er zu beherrschen glaubt
