Mary started her teaching career in Charleston, WV where she was born, raised and graduated college. A few years later she went back to school and received her Master's degree from Marshall University. Mary taught and coached for 11 years in Charleston before moving to Aiken, SC where she taught for an additional 24 years. After retiring in SC she went to Evans GA where she is currently in her 7th year of teaching. Mary and her husband Joe reside in Aiken, SC and their daughter Christina is a RN and works at a hospital in Charleston, SC
