Autorenporträt
Manoranjan Sahoo born, 10th July 1966, writes poetry from 1985 mostly in Odia. He lives in village named Indupur, Kendrapara, Odisha, near the river Birupa a few kilometer from Budhist Monument Ancient Cultural and Educational University 'Ratnagiri'. His first poetry collection "Apadevata" got published in 2000, Pine Books, Cuttack. The 2nd one "Khali Hatare" in 2009, Ezy's Publication, Bhubaneswar, "Kichhi Kabita Kichhi Nirabata" in 2022, Black Eagle Books, USA. He is the recipient of the "Punnarnava Modern Poetry Award" (2017), "Rajashree Kala O Sahitya Award" (2018), "Sanibara Srujani Sandhya, VaniVihar" (1989), "Aparna Sahitya Sansada Poetry Award" (1996). Best poetry award from "Adeita Smruti Committee" (1999), "Sambad Sahitya Ghara Sammana" (2023), Derabishi, "Barunei Sahitya Sammana" (2023), Rajnagar.
