nació en 1958 en la División Othaya del Distrito de Nyeri en Kenya, África Oriental. Se incorporó a la Escuela Secundaria para Muchachos de Kerugoya para obtener su certificado avanzado en 1979. Tiene un diploma de marketing y un diploma superior de teología y ahora está estudiando para obtener el mismo. William ha sido profesor y ahora está en la Agencia de Negocios.
