Autorenporträt
Roger Chickering was educated at Cornell and Stanford. He has held research fellowships in Berlin, Munich, Freiburg, and at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He has published widely in modern German history, particularly in the Imperial epoch, where his studies have emphasized the history of both pacifism and radical nationalism.
