Flint was a dreamer who lived his life with a big heart and big emotions. No challenge was too difficult or impossible. One of his dreams was to write a book for anyone who has ever felt alone or lonely. Flint was looking out the kitchen window one day when he heard a little girl "howling" on the playground in front of the house. To let her know that there was someone out there, he howled back. The exchange with the little girl inspired him to write this story. Flint didn't live to see his dream realized, but with this book his legacy and memory live on in our hearts.
