In 2008, Joe and his wife Terri Fornear launched Stronghold Ministry, a nonprofit ministry that provides spiritual help to cancer patients and those in crisis. An ordained minister, Joe has a Masters of Theology (ThM) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He founded and pastored a church in Dallas, Texas, for 18 years. Joe and Terri have two grown children, son Jesse, and daughter Amy.
