Film director Bruce Beresford has made some of Australia's best-known and most interesting films, including The Adventures of Barry Mackenzie, Breaker Morant, Don's Party, Puberty Blues, and has had international success with Driving Miss Daisy, Black Robe and Paradise Road. Bruce lives in Birchgrove in Sydney.
