In modern bureaucracies, the organization of offices and work activities, especially multiple roles and complex tasks, often result in stress. The topic is relevant to the physical and mental well being of employees, i.e. job stress has relevance to human health. Work is an important aspect of people s lives and most people spend large part of their lives at work. Undoubtedly, clear understanding of the factors involved in job stress is pertinent to improving the well being of academic staff.
