Elle est titulaire d'une licence en sciences et en éducation (RIE, Mysore), d'une maîtrise en sociologie, d'une maîtrise et d'un doctorat en anglais, d'une maîtrise et d'un doctorat en éducation et d'un diplôme en hindi.
